There's nothing a total performer like Darren Espanto can't do! Just months after finishing second in The Voice Kids, the 13-year old already has 2 certifed gold albums under his belt!
Following the success of The Voice Kids album, Darren's self-titled debut album has also turned gold since its release last December!
In a recent press conference, Darren shared how he felt about his early success:“Siguro po ngayon, satisfied po ako sa mga nangyari kasi meron na po akong album, nagkaroon na po ako ng mga concerts, at saka naka-travel na din po ako around the world, so masayang-masaya po ako… and I’m getting to meet all these amazing people na I never thought I could actually meet in the future, so masayang-masaya po ako.”
Unlike his contemporaries Lyca and Juan Karlos who have done acting roles, Darren feels more driven to establish his name as a singer. But he says, he'll get to that when the right time comes!
