Trekkies across the universe salute Leonard Nimoy who has passed away at age 83 from chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.
The veteran actor played the beloved pointy-eared Star Trek officer in the original 1960s TV series and various spin-offs. He also appeared in the 2009 reboot of the sci-fi film franchise and its 2013 sequel Star Trek Into Darkness. And get this, he even recorded several albums as his iconic character!
Today's teens may remember Leonard Nimoy as the old guy in the alternate video of "The Lazy Song".
