Two months ago, broadwayworld.com announced the final cast of the upcoming West End revival of the hit musical Miss Saigon and our very own Rachelle Ann Go was chosen to play the role of Gigi!
"Nung una kong nabasa yung e-mail, siyempre na-shock ako," shared Rachelle Ann during our MYXclusive interview after her concert pictorial last night. "Hindi ako makapaniwala. Sobrang isang panaginip na nagkatotoo, parang ganun yung feeling. Sobrang saya ko, hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala hanggang ngayon," she added.
As for her preparations, Rachelle Ann shared that she will now be starting with her dance class and voice lessons. "Kailangan mag-gym na rin. Kailangan physically fit ako pagdating ko doon. Inaaral ko na rin yung music ngayon," she said.
This 2014, just a few weeks before finally flying to London, Rachelle Ann will be staging "Miss Rachelle," her 10th anniversary and send off concert this coming February.
According to Rachelle Ann, "Makakasama ko rin dito sa concert siyempre yung mga taong malapit sa buhay ko and yung mga naging part talaga ng journey ko dito sa industry."
