People are talking about whether or not singer-songwriter-producer Pharrell Williams has some Filipino blood.
According to hollywoodstreetking.com, Pharrell's mom, reportedly named Carolyn Masibay-Williams, is a full-blooded Filipina, and is a former beauty queen who represented the Philippines in the Miss Asia Pacific Pageant in 1971.
In an article posted by standard.co.uk where Pharrell talked about his parents, Pharrell shared that his mother Carolyn is a teacher and said, "My mom thought her sons could do no wrong. She lived for us. There was plenty of discipline, but we knew we were loved."
