Grammy award-winning singer Lorde may have survived her rapid rise to fame, with sold-out concerts here and there, but the physical demands the come with the stardom that she's in, not quite.
The teenage phenomenon has been ordered to take a breather and miss her scheduled Australian tour. She was due to kick off the seven-concert Australian leg of her world tour in Melbourne on Thursday.
Doctors advised the New Zealand star to take "immediate rest and recuperation in order to regain complete health and continue touring for the rest of the year," after falling ill and she's now on her way back to her homeland.
After the official announcement, the Royals singer tweeted she was suffering with a really "nasty chest infection" and "general ill health".
