The #Pinoy Relief Benefit Concert is by far one of the biggest fundraising events for the Typhoon Yolanda survivors - held at the Madison Square Garden last March 11, 2014 in New York City.

The night was packed with the biggest American celebrities and Fil-Am stars who made it in there, all aiming for one goal - to be able to provide support to the people still recovering from the Typhoon Yolanda devastation in November last year.

Multi-award winning singer/actress Jennifer Hudson headlined the show. Along with the all-star Filipino lineup including Jessica Sanchez, Plain White T's, A Great Big World, Pentatonix and Charice. Fil-Am actor Dante Basco, "Let It Go" composers Robert Lopez and wife Kristen Anderson-Lopez, and apl.de.ap of Blacked Eyed Peas were also present in the event and served as hosts.

Stick to your TV screens and make sure you are tuned in on the MYX channel @ 4:00PM, TOMORROW! And watch the spectacular performances of the artists who all came together for one common goal!

You definitely shouldn't miss this!

Some of the featured performers that night even turned to their Twitter accounts to promote the event and express their gratitude on performing.

Behind this is a prominent Filipino-American family in New York, the Alvarez family, led by Manila natives Gail and husband Tony. Their mission is to raise about $5 million to fin funduing and create programs to build semi-permanent structures such as homes and schools for the town of Guiuan in Samar.
