Klarisse De Guzman has finally been able to tick off one of the items on her bucket list as she launches her self-titled debut album yesterday at the Lucky Chinatown mall.
"After The Voice, sobrang drastic ng difference. Before, normal lang yung life ko -- school, bahay. If may gigs man ako, minsan lang. But now meron nang mga taong nakaka-recognize sa'kin kahit nasa mall ako and then nakakakanta na ako sa iba't ibang lugar with the people I admire... and now I'm a part of ASAP and nagkaroon ako ng chance na magkaroon ng sarili kong album."
The singer added that she was very hands-on in the album. In fact, there was a time when she personally went to the sound engineer just to give her own inputs and ideas.
"Kasi gusto ko kung ano yung gusto kong kalabasan nung song, 'yun yung kakalabasan niya talaga kasi paulit-ulit na mapapakinggan 'yan e, hindi lang once. So very hands-on ako pagdating dun kasi course ko rin yun e, Music Production," Klarisse shares.
Of course, the KLANGSTERS were full support -- filling up the venue not only with their presence but also with cheers and endless screams of "We love you, Klarisse!".
